Media Kit

The PEF logomark is the primary signifier of our brand identity.

Our logo should appear on all internal and external communications from Public Education Forward. Depending on the medium, message, and audience, you're welcome to use either the primary PEF logo, secondary logos, or a program-specific logo — whichever fits best.

Logo files are created by the PEF Marketing team. If you have any questions about using logos, please contact the PEF Marketing team — we're happy to help!

The PEF logotype serves as the primary symbol of our brand.

It should be used consistently across all communications to reinforce our identity and ensure brand recognition. The logotype must not be altered in any way, including changing proportions, colors, or fonts.

About the Design:

PEF offers more than 35 years of expertise in Public Education and that shows in the bold letters that show the weight of history and uncompromising clarity.

The Rounded Corners help to show that PEF is built for people—educators, students, and partners. Softening institutional sharpness and communicating approachability.

The elements that are used to make up PEF's visual identity work to continue to convey those strengths.

Secondary Logos

These are the two secondary logo options for PEF: both a horizontal and vertical option, providing flexibility in various design applications.

Both versions maintain the brand's core elements, ensuring consistency while adapting to different formats.

Pillar Logos

Unique Logos for Our Brand Pillars

In addition to our main and secondary logos, we've got logos representing our three brand pillars: PEF Students, PEF Teachers, and PEF Innovators. Each of our programs fits into one of these categories.

Program Logos

Program logos are a great way for individual programs represent their work while staying connected to the PEF brand.

These are the sub-brand logos for our current programs. It is essential to use only brand-approved logos. If PEF launches a new program or event, the Marketing team will design a logo that aligns with our existing sub-brand logos.

Logo Usage

Color Variations

Logos are available in three color variations. They may not appear in any color other than what is shown above.

Spacing

When using PEF's logo, it is important to maintain free space around the logo to ensure legibility and prominence. This free space represents the minimum area around the logo where no other imagery or text is allowed. The clear space is determined by the width of the "P".
