Based in Chattanooga since August 2024, where she met and married the love of her life, Lorena now serves as Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Public Education Forward, leading the organization’s brand, digital communications, and creative storytelling. She develops and executes content across PEF’s website, social media, email, photography, graphic design, and other public-facing communications, helping connect the organization’s work with students, educators, partners, and supporters.

Lorena also works across PEF’s programs and initiatives to strengthen brand consistency, capture impact, and develop communications that help tell the story of how PEF is moving public education forward. Her work supports organization-wide marketing efforts, program recruitment, events, campaigns, and strategic communications.

At the core of everything she creates is a genuine care for people. Whether she’s behind a camera, writing, or building out a long-term strategy, she leads with thoughtfulness and purpose, always aiming to reflect growth and real stories. Her work is also rooted in her faith, which continues to guide how she shows up with intention and a commitment to serving others well.
