PEF creates pathways from high school through college completion. We provide expert guidance through the college application process, personalized mentorship from acceptance through your first year of college, and support for adults returning to finish degrees they started years ago.

Gateway Scholars

Gateway Scholars pairs students with dedicated College Advancement Mentors who provide personalized support from high school graduation through college completion—ensuring students don't just get into college, but graduate.

Pathways Forward provides personalized re-enrollment support, financial navigation, and tailored guidance for adults with some college but no degree—helping them overcome barriers and complete the credentials that will change their lives.

Upcoming Deadlines

  • August 1st - For the 2026-2027 academic year, complete and report at least 16 hours of community service to your assigned partnering organization.
  • The TN Promise application is now open for the class of 2027. Complete application HERE. The deadline is November 2, 2026.
